Chapter 61

Samantha POV

I wake up in an open field. There are trees and flowers surrounding me.

A figure in white is walking closer to me. Once the figure comes closer I can see that it is a woman.

"Hello, my child. I am so happy you are here." She smiles at me lovingly.

"I am sorry, I do not want to sound rude but who are you? Where am I?" I start looking around franticly

"I am the moon goddess, my dear. You are currently in my world. We call it the in-between. You are between the living and the dead world. I snatched your soul before it went to the dead world."

"Why would you do that?" I ask feeling confused Have I not suffered enough?

"It was not your time yet. You still have lots of change to do in this world." She walks closer to me and touches my head. I feel my eyes getting heavy. Darkness is taking over.
