Zane and Shirl walked back to their chambers in total silence, they were both engrossed in their thoughts.
Shirl was feeling so content and happy that her prank worked, her mate proved her right by coming to the fighting arena immediately after she was hit. She would have been so disappointed if he didn't show up. His appearance signified just how much he loves and cares about her.
