"Senna Zhang!"

Senna turned her head towards the man who suddenly burst in. Her brows furrowed. "What is he doing here?"

A bad feeling crept over Senna, sensing her plans might fall apart. The sweaty man in slightly disheveled clothes stood beside her, holding her hand.

It was Evander, his face serious as he addressed the reporters. "I want to declare that the circulating rumors are false! So, stop involving my wife in these baseless accusations."

Senna was increasingly baffled by the man defending her. Wasn’t he the one spreading the rumors? Yet here he was, pretending to be a good husband defending his wife.

The reporters were stunned by Evander's statement, and some began to question him. "But what about the evidence presented?"

"That could easily be manipulated. Anyone can fabricate lies to appear true. Even if it were true, I would still stand by my wife and support her through treatment until we have our own children."

Evander didn't give Senna a chance to respond or reve
