Anna's point of view After saying our goodbyes to everyone at the bunker today, we are heading to Ash's gym, the fire pit. It takes a few hours drive until we finally arrive; as we drive up the dirt path that leads to the Pit, I can see Dylan waiting outside, alongside a big man. I can't take my eyes off Dylan, though; he looks so well. The last time I saw him was when I asked one of the staff from the palace to bring him to the pit, hoping that Ash would find him and be able to help him; I had no idea if he would make it. To see him looking so well brings tears to my eyes. The big guy comes striding over to the car, and I can't help but giggle as he opens the door with so much force he almost pulls the door off. He grabs hold of Ash, pulling him from the car as he crashes his arms around him in a hug. This has to be Stan, Ash's best friend. Stan has been running the Fire pit in Ash's absence; he speaks of him all of the time. They finally pull apart as Ash walks around to open t
Anna's point of view. Dylan smiles when they walk back into the room; Ash raises his head to look at me with a grin, and my heart lifts. I know it's going to take time to earn that boy's trust back, but seeing his face now, I know that it's a massive improvement from just a few hours ago, and that’s all thanks to Ash. He really is the most amazing person that I have ever met in my life. I don't know what this is between us yet, but I do know that I love him, and he tells me he loves me back and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. I'm excited, excited that for the first time in my life, I can see a future alongside him. As for the Vampire curse, I don't know if it has left any side effects yet, whether I will be able to have children of my own, I don't know yet. God, I hope so, though as a woman getting pregnant is something that so many take for granted. Yet to others who, for whatever reason, don't have that option, it's a miracle. A miracle I can only pray for.
Anna's point of viewPlastic tits gives me one last dirty look before she walks away. Ash grins as he lip-syncs, "I love you, baby."Everybody's eyes turn to look at me as l Yes, you guessed it blushed like an idiot, obviously wearing the biggest grin on my face.Stan laughs beside me as he mutters. "Wow, my boys got it bad; what have you done to him, Anna."I shrug my shoulders as I sit back and watch my man. The crowd loves him, and I can't help but laugh as he plays to them. His opponent walks out; he's a big man, and if I didn't know what Ash was capable of, I'd be worried, but in true Killer style, he knocks him to his feet in the first round. The referee announces Ash as the winner...and the crowd goes crazy. I spot plastic tits holding up a sign as she shimmies her hips over to Ash"Fuck….no way…." I say as Stan lets out a chuckle; I jump up from my seat; Bear grins as he watches me climb into the ring before I throw myself into my man's arms.Ha…...have that plastic tits…..H
Anna's Point of view After a fantastic first night at the Fire pit, Ash pulls me into his arms as he whispers.“Come on, baby, Let's go home.”He pulls me outside into the waiting jeep before we make our way to his house, it's only a ten-minute drive from the Fire pit, and when we pull up outside, I immediately fall in love with the place. It's beautiful. A quaint little brick house within its own gated grounds after spending forty years locked away in a massive dark and dreary Palace, this house is perfect.Ash smiles as he turns to look at me as he asks. “So, what do you think of it from the outside?”I sigh as I reply. “It's beautiful, Ash.”He reaches out to take my hand in his as he says, “If you like the outside, just wait until you see the inside.”I take hold of his hand as he leads me to the front door; I let out a gasp as he opens the door. The house is much bigger than it looks from the outside; Jax explains how he renovated it. Extending it yet keeping with its original
Anna's point of viewThree weeks have passed, and Dylan is settling into school, although he's still not happy about it. He knows if he wants to stay with Ash at the Fire pit, then he must attend school.I'm having the time of my life; I love being at the house with Ash and Dylan. My favourite place is sitting in the kitchen overlooking the gardens. I've also found a love for cooking, remembering the meals my mum used to cook for me when I was a child.Good old-fashioned food, but then again, it was over fifty years ago.Ash often invites Stan and his wife over, along with Bear; of course, in the past couple of weeks, I've also become good friends with Stan's wife, Linda. It's good to have some female company in my life. After being separated from my mum and kept confined to the Palace, I've never really had any friends that I could call my own, I talked to a few of the Palace staff, but they were too scared of the King to make friends with me. Tonight, we have had all of the gang ove
Ash’s point of viewWhen we get back to the house, Dylan goes straight to his room, Ash walks into the kitchen, and I follow behind as I say."Ash?""What, babe." He replies with a frustrated sigh."You couldn't have stopped Areon from doing what he did to me; you were locked up in a cage."He runs his hand over his chin as he replies. "I know; I wish I could have stopped him; I will never forget what I saw that night, and it kills me that I couldn't do a thing to stop him.""I know, baby." I whisper as I wrap my arms around his back, feeling him sink against me as I rest my head on his muscular back, I whisper,"You need to speak to Dylan; he thinks you blame him for being expelled, and he did what any decent human would do; he stopped that girl from being attacked."Ash turns around, pulling me into his arms as he says. "I know, baby, he did what I couldn't."I lean up to kiss his lips as I say."Don't you dare blame yourself, Ash. You are the one who got me away from that monster,
Ash's point of view. After spending the evening at Stan's house, we come home and make love, every time with Anna gets better. I've never felt this way before, but God do I love this woman; she makes me happy, and she's so much happier in herself now the Vampire curse has been reversed; it just makes me fall in love with her a little more.Dylan has managed to put the past behind him, and the two of them are best friends these days; it's good to see the bond they share; they are like brother and sister. I guess you could say that we are our own little dysfunctional family, and it somehow works.I pull her into my arms. For once in my life, feeling contented, she sighs before she whispers quietly. "Ash, do you find the strength that Dylan processes strange for a twelve-year-old boy?"Fuck!......I don't find it strange because that boy is exactly the same as me. All my life, I've been fitter and stronger than anyone around me; that includes Bear, who is a seven-foot freak of nature. As
Ash's point of viewShe said yes, and I feel like the happiest man in the world. Tonight has been a strange night, a night full of mixed emotions. I let those emotions get the better of me as I just blurted out those four little words."Will you marry me?"In my head, I had planned to do things so differently, but she said yes!"You mean it?"I ask as she giggles, "Of course, I mean it, Ash, I cannot wait to be your wife." I chuckle as I say. "I'm sorry, I never meant to ask you like this. I wanted to make it perfect."She wipes away her tears as she whispers. "Ash, I'm glad you asked me tonight; you opened up to me tonight and told me things that nobody else knows, even though it was hard for you to do. To end this night like this is perfect."I grin before walking over to my bedside table and finding the ring that I have been hiding away; I walk back over to Anna, taking her hand in mine before dropping to my knees as I say." My beautiful little Anna, will you make me the happiest
