With my shoes in my hand, I took off on an exploration. The dirt and grass under my feet felt good. I felt close to nature. My wolf would have loved it. A few lights on posts scattered around close by helped my human eyes to see at night, and I was thankful for that. I wasn't sure how much time had passed when we reached the pack house, but Erix shook me awake. I hadn't even realized that I had fallen asleep. I was more tired than I could ever be.
