CHAPTER ELEVEN

Scott waited until he was sure that Alijah was gone completely from his doorstep before he let out the curse that had rested upon the tip of his tongue for a little while.

"Fuck! I can't believe I let Lucas talk me into this mess." He sighed and looked around at the poor state of the house once again.

He could break down and probably murder the girl if he remained in the house, he thought. He agreed with himself that the only thing he could do at that moment was just to leave the house. However, because he didn't know anyone anywhere, he was a little confused about where to go.

"The lost one." He mumbled to himself and smiled. He would just go out and look around to see if he could spot the lost one he and his sister were looking for a while back.

He teleported out of the house to an area without any living thing poking their nose about and breathed in the scent of fresh air. He was just about to step out among the humans when he remembered that he shouldn't have teleported out of the
