CHAPTER THIRTEEN.

As Scott got into his plain new room, he cursed himself because of how he had reacted to the woman and the words he had spoken out of anger. He knew that the words could backfire right back at him if the woman thought deeply about what he said.

"Maybe I shouldn't have threatened her." He said to himself. "But then the threat did work on making her grant me my wish." He chuckled to himself again.

He was still thinking about this when he heard loud blaring sounds of the police van getting closer to the house. When the siren only got closer, he knew trouble was brewing for him.

"What the!" He exclaimed when he realized that Alijah had done what he had put past her.

She had called the police on him.

"I'll kill that woman and put an end to all these at once!" He screamed into the almost empty room, not caring if the wind carried his voice over to her.
