Never in a million years did I think I would be friends with the Queen. Nor did I think I would be sitting here, watching over her body and praying to the Moon Goddess to keep Bella alive. To let her live to see her son.

Mum had given me strict instructions. Keep blankets off of her and make sure no one touches her. To let the potions do their work.

Mum was in her element caring for Bella, but it scared me that the King had called her a false witch. He didn’t seem happy about it either and had quickly changed the subject. Though now I understood why there were problems between my parents. My dad loved his mate, but he hated what she could be capable of doing. Hated knowing that the rest of Lycans and Wolves would never accept her if they knew.

“Come on Bella. You have to heal. This has to work.” I mutter, moving around the room. "Moon Goddess, please don't let her die. She has a son. She is the Queen we all need. She has to live."

Her breaths are steady, her heart beat is strong
