CHAPTER SEVEN

Theo quickly went after Maddie. He even pushed Ingrid out of the way that angered her more. He immediately dived in the lake and swam as fast as he could to the middle part of the lake which is the deepest. Maddie, on the other hand, doesn’t know how to swim. She screamed due to panic so water came rushing into her lungs. She started to sink quickly despite her efforts in thrusting herself up. Maddie’s lungs started to fill with water and she’s already out of breath that is why she stopped trying to surface and just chose to face her end.
