Chapter 31

As the incision on my neck started to gently close up, I gasped. As my body temperature rose once more and I started to burn, I hissed. I started to regain feeling in my body once my neck stopped bleeding. My skin tingled as I struggled to push myself up and onto all fours.

I always imagined that when the day eventually arrived and I finally Shifted, I would be thrilled. when I eventually turn into a real werewolf. But I didn't feel excited at all. Nothing but anxiety, anguish, and terror were present. When I eventually Shifted, I never imagined that I would be lost, hurt, and by myself. Though I was. Alone and pleading for help. Nobody arrived.

I screamed louder than I'd ever yelled before as my flesh bubbled and appeared to be on fire. Then, as my other leg violently shattered, my left leg snapped as well, and I buckled. Each of my bones fractured, formed, and then broke again as I lay on the ground sobbing and screaming.
