Chapter 47

Alpha Alex adjusted himself at the back seat of the bus he was traveling in. First stop was Alpha David's pack. The pack he had come to find his mate. He had decided he would journey on to meet David and then, from there, they would both meet with the other Alphas.

The annual meeting for Alpha was happening the next day. He exhaled deeply.

"Are you missing her already?" One of his guards had asked him. Alex snapped back to reality with those words. He wanted to ask who they meant but quickly realized he had just left his mate. Surely, they thought he was missing her presence.

Alex laughed, "Of course. What alpha would not miss his mate? This journey came after my wedding. It caused me a heartache."

"From the look of things, she looked like she genuinely missed you. You both look so happy and we wish you many children and happy years to come"

He thanked the guard. Of course he was grateful for that and missed her a little but he was also going on this trip so he could have a little whi
