KING ARLO'S POV

The royal car pulled up the drive of the Packhouse and the sentinels opened the doors. I stepped out and waited for Jordy to do the same. She had the child wrapped safely in her arms as we headed inside the building.

The Omegas took out our luggage and they were being sent to our rooms.

I took as much fresh air into my lungs as it could take to wash off the depressing air I had inhaled in New Haven. If we had stayed another day longer, I just would have flipped. Never again will I visit the human world.

Inside the building, we headed to Jordy's parent's bedroom. They had to know we were back and also greet their grandson.

Jordy glanced at me but I had to keep my eyes ahead. Couldn't do the staring thing. Not when I was in bad shape and we still weren't okay.

Instead, I tried to look more neutral for when we'd get to the bedroom, which we did, a minute later. The Omegas widely opened the door and we walked in, alone.
