THIRD PERSON'S POV

Jamal let out a deep groan as he was plumped on his bed. His limbs were spread in all directions and he was snoring so loudly.

Watching him fall asleep, Zoey couldn't help but recall everything he said at the nightclub. She was still fazed by his words. Everything he said made no sense. Or maybe they did, but it was hard to wrap her head around them.

"You should leave." She spoke quickly, stopping the female Omega from taking off Jamal's shoes.

"But, Ma'am, I still have to –"

"I'll be the one to do it. So just leave. Get out now." She snapped. Tonight, she was on the edge. It would be impossible to be nice to anyone.

"Yes, Ma'am." The Omega bowed and left the room.

Zoey locked the door and slowly came to sit on the bed, right next to Jamal's unconscious body. Tears rolled down her eyes before she could hack them in. She let them fall. Her heart was heavy and stinging. Crying would be a better way to let off the emotions.
