As soon as the man hurled her into the cave, he stepped away from her with his hands up, like he was telling her he wouldn’t hurt her.

But Sera was beyond pissed … and scared… This unknown man had just attacked her, tied her up and had apparently been spying on her! He had to die!

She quickly sprang away from him and with Kiras help in her mind, she quickly slipped her hands out of the poorly tied ropes he had used to bind her arms.

To be honest...With the way he tied the ropes, it didn’t seem like he was actually trying hard to incapacitate her—- it felt like he was just trying to restrain her a little.

Once her hands where free, she picked up another sharp stick as a weapon and glared up at him with fury.

"Wh-who are you? How long have you been following me?" Sera demanded, trying to keep her voice steady.
