Punished

It was dark and dingy and Emma had been lying on the cold and dirty floor of the dungeon for hours.

Her clothes were torn and her face was swollen. The guards had thrown her to the floor violently on her face.

Immediately she hit the floor, she passed out cold.

"Hmm..." She groaned with her eyes closed. It had been hours since she had passed out. As soon as her eyes started to open up, she felt pain shoot through her body.

Immediately, her eyes snapped open and her head banged.

For a moment, Emma didn't know where she was and it was dark in there.

She heard a light squeak and a scrape on her arm and she jolted from the floor.

"Where am I?" She asked, in a low voice. She then tried to stand up but she felt dizzy and fell to the floor again.

The squeaky sounds became louder and she realized there were rats in there.

"Hello...is anyone there?" She asked, in a shaky voice as she was starting to get scared.

Her eyes tried to see through the darkness and she noticed there were iron bars
