We were soon taking off into the sky in the most luxurious plane I had ever seen in all of my life, well it’s the first plane I’d ever seen for that matter. The seats were a black leather material with designer cushions placed on top, each seat held a bright white light at the bottom which illuminated the carpeted isle. A shiny wooden table with two double chairs stood off to the side of the plane, Vito telling me lunch would be brought for us when we were ready. There was even a bedroom and kitchen on the plane! All together, this plane was beautiful and really showcased how much money Vito truly had if he could afford a plane such as this one. I was sat in one of the single seats looking out of the little window as we flew over the white clouds, the beauty giving my mind the much-needed break from all that had happened recently. Vito, who had left to use the bathroom soon sits behind me, but somehow, takes my seat and turns it around to face him with a smile on his face. “Enjoyi
I remained on the floor for quite sometime just crying my eyes out, I couldn’t quite believe I’d been so stupid and not seen what was right in front of my eyes! Why didn’t I realise that Shane had warned me of Vito the night before he died, I had been so overcome with grief and Vito was there supporting me, that it didn’t even cross my mind to start accusing him of doing anything! But what broke me more than anything was Shane and what he would have been thinking in his last moments, he only wanted to help me as friend, and he ended up died! Would he still be here if I would have listened to Owen that day and left Vito? Would all of the things which has happened to be these last few months not happened if I’d listened to Owen? As I move to sit on the bed with my knees up to my chest, I couldn’t help but realise how many amazing things have happened because I didn’t listen to Owen and stayed with Vito. I have never felt love the way I have with Vito; I have never felt as safe as I
Cutting some fresh fruit that Vito had ordered to be sent to the house, I stood in the kitchen with a smile on my face. For the first time in forever, I felt free in a sense. There was no impending danger ahead of me, no constant back and forth to the café to deal with some argumentative customers or even the worry I felt for my dad. I was a bit apprehensive at first for Jayden to watch my father, but Vito was quick to reassure me that Jayden knew what he was doing and even had some trained nurses he’s hiring to ensure everything is done to help my dad. Vito walking into the kitchen with a new phone in his hand and a smile on his face only added to how great this feeling was, I wonder what I would have thought a year ago if I knew where I’d be here today. “Good news Pequeño, I was able to get Jayden on the phone and I know you’ve been worried, but Louis is due to make a full recovery. He has a mild concussion and will experience a minor headache for about a week but after, he will
To say I was shocked when Vito proposed to me was an understatement, I had no idea that he’d been planning to ask me for weeks and even had the ring specially made around a month of us dating. He told me the moment that I moved into his house that we’d get married; he was simply waiting for the right time to ask me. Even though this trip wasn’t planned for this purpose, he knew it would be the perfect place. I simply sat on the bed staring at the beautiful ring which gleamed on my finger, I’d never been the type of person to really marvel over jewellery or spend countless hours chasing down the perfect piece, but I had to say, this was beautiful. The ring was gold with a huge diamond in the middle which shone so brightly in the light, two smaller diamonds on each side of the bigger one showcasing how much thought Vito had put into designing this. Entering through the bathroom, he soon finds me sitting on the bed staring down at the ring on my finger. “This is absolutely beautifu
Walking down the cobblestone steps of the villa Vito and I are staying in, my hands shook with anticipation, after spending the past three days hearing Vito planning the little ceremony for us to get married, the day had finally, come. I was now on my way over to the woman who was making me my dress, due to the wedding not being huge, I didn’t think I would need to wear a dress as it’ll only be me, Vito and a few witnesses which will need to be present. But Vito was quick to tell me that it wouldn’t be a wedding if I wasn’t in a wedding dress, he knew the perfect person to make me a simple dress for the simple ceremony, but he was sure to tell me that when the time came for us to have the big wedding back at home, he’ll ensure that I go all out. Susanna, the woman who would be making my dress came over yesterday to take my measurements and asked me what kind of dress I wanted, after going over some things and explaining how simple I wanted the dress, she left with a smile telling me
After sitting in the same chair for around an hour and a half getting my hair and makeup down, I begin to slip back into my beautiful dress with the help of Suzanna again, this time she ensured the dress was in the correct places on my body now it was truly time. Even the beautiful necklace and other items of jewellery only tied the dress together, really matching the simplicity of the dress but making it stand out that much more. I was able to keep the tears at bay until my vail was secured in the well put together bun of my hair, this time fully showing me that I was actually about to get married, I know the wedding dress didn’t scream that to me. Suzanna, who watched from the side soon hands me a tissue so I wouldn’t cause my makeup to run. “Thank you so much, you’ve made me feel beautiful.” I say knowing I could never thank her enough, I know this is rushed but it’s still my wedding, something that doesn’t come around in a much in your life. “No need to thank me sweetheart,
After spending just over a month in the Bahamas enjoying married life and getting to spend as much time together as possible, we sat in Vito’s gigantic private jet on our way back home. Vito wasn’t lying when he bragged about his private jet being bigger than the one we left in, I could fully picture myself moving into this plane full time and never having any kind of issue with it. The seats were the comfiest I had ever sat in before, even the bedroom was double the size of the last one! How much did this cost to buy and keep in the air?! “Thank you.” I smile to Vito taking the bottle of water he went to get me from the fridge whilst he takes a seat beside me on the double sofa like seats on the side of the living area. “I know we have to go home and back to our regular lives, but I loved staying in our own Villa and having you all to myself.” I say with a sigh placing my head on his shoulder as I spoke, where a chuckle soon erupts from his lips as he pulls me even closer to him.
Most of the car ride was filled with Jayden giving Vito an update on all that had happened with his work since he’d been gone, nothing that I typically wanted to hear about. The less I know about what Vito does, the better it makes me feel about him leaving me to get it done. With my head against the window feeling a little jet legged from having to get up much early to leave for the UK, I was exhausted and only watched all of the tress go by as we continued down some country road. “Oh, and there’s an update on Shane’s case which I think you’ll both want to hear.” Jayden speaks from the back which did break through and get my attention, where I soon sit up and give him a look. “There has been an arrest made, Shane’s weird uncle Jeremy, the one you didn’t like at the funeral had been arrested and charged with Shane’s murder. I told you it was probably him!” He smiled over to me mostly, if I hadn’t of found out what really happened to Shane, I would have believed that but with what
