After sitting in the same chair for around an hour and a half getting my hair and makeup down, I begin to slip back into my beautiful dress with the help of Suzanna again, this time she ensured the dress was in the correct places on my body now it was truly time. Even the beautiful necklace and other items of jewellery only tied the dress together, really matching the simplicity of the dress but making it stand out that much more. I was able to keep the tears at bay until my vail was secured in the well put together bun of my hair, this time fully showing me that I was actually about to get married, I know the wedding dress didn’t scream that to me. Suzanna, who watched from the side soon hands me a tissue so I wouldn’t cause my makeup to run. “Thank you so much, you’ve made me feel beautiful.” I say knowing I could never thank her enough, I know this is rushed but it’s still my wedding, something that doesn’t come around in a much in your life. “No need to thank me sweetheart,
After spending just over a month in the Bahamas enjoying married life and getting to spend as much time together as possible, we sat in Vito’s gigantic private jet on our way back home. Vito wasn’t lying when he bragged about his private jet being bigger than the one we left in, I could fully picture myself moving into this plane full time and never having any kind of issue with it. The seats were the comfiest I had ever sat in before, even the bedroom was double the size of the last one! How much did this cost to buy and keep in the air?! “Thank you.” I smile to Vito taking the bottle of water he went to get me from the fridge whilst he takes a seat beside me on the double sofa like seats on the side of the living area. “I know we have to go home and back to our regular lives, but I loved staying in our own Villa and having you all to myself.” I say with a sigh placing my head on his shoulder as I spoke, where a chuckle soon erupts from his lips as he pulls me even closer to him.
Most of the car ride was filled with Jayden giving Vito an update on all that had happened with his work since he’d been gone, nothing that I typically wanted to hear about. The less I know about what Vito does, the better it makes me feel about him leaving me to get it done. With my head against the window feeling a little jet legged from having to get up much early to leave for the UK, I was exhausted and only watched all of the tress go by as we continued down some country road. “Oh, and there’s an update on Shane’s case which I think you’ll both want to hear.” Jayden speaks from the back which did break through and get my attention, where I soon sit up and give him a look. “There has been an arrest made, Shane’s weird uncle Jeremy, the one you didn’t like at the funeral had been arrested and charged with Shane’s murder. I told you it was probably him!” He smiled over to me mostly, if I hadn’t of found out what really happened to Shane, I would have believed that but with what
After sitting on the side of the road crying a little, Vito leads me back to the car and towards our new home. My head against the window again but this time, it wasn’t tiredness which flooded through me, but the intense gut-wrenching pain of grief. When my father was at his worst, I did wonder if I would arrive back from work one day and find him laying dead on the floor due to his days of abusing his body. Back then, it’s sad to admit that I had sort of accepted that fact and knew what to do and who to call when I found him. But now I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, and he was finally, getting better, I had silently told myself that I didn’t need to live in the fear of him passing away too soon, but I see how detrimental that had been for me now. “I need to talk to the head of security; will you be okay in the car?” Vito asks mainly looking over at me rather than Jayden, where I send him a nod before looking back out of the window whilst he leaves the car silent on
Each person apart from Jayden began to share the same looks on their faces, utter shock on what they were hearing. I knew from Vito how dangerous and complex this last job of theirs was, they knew how much intense planning needed to go into this job to ensure none of them get hurt or arrested. I also wanted them to leave no stone unturned when going over each and every one of the details, I didn’t need anything happening to Vito, he’s all I got right now. “Are you sure we’re ready for this job to be at the end of the week, I mean we can’t fuck ass around with any job, but this one in particular, we can’t be too careful.” Buster said breaking the silence with the words of warning, Louis nodding his head in agreement whilst still stuffing his face with food. “When did you turn into a pussy Buster?! We have been planning this job for so many years now, if we don’t get up and do it, it’s never gonna happen!” Jayden exclaims seeming to be very pissed off that no one was jumping up and
The next morning, I was stood in mine and Vito’s new gigantic bedroom getting ready and when I say this room is huge, I’m not over exaggerating! I thought Vito’s old house was the biggest house I had ever seen, but it appeared that I had lived an even more sheltered life than I once anticipated. You could probably fit four of Vito’s old houses into this place and still have much room left! I never had the chance to get the official tour last night due to Jayden going over what he wanted me to do about a hundred times so I was as clued up as I could be, but Vito promised when we get home after this job, the rest of the day will be showing me around the beautiful house. Now due to the nature of the job and what role I would be playing, I was stood in clothes I never thought I would ever again, my work outfit from the café. The black polo shirt with the café’s logo on the front sort of haunted me in some odd sense. I won’t deny that after hearing the café was shutting down and Vito e
Sitting in the silent car on the way to the restaurant where all of this was taking place, I never allowed my mind time to worry about it all, I kept repeating the same plan which Jayden gave me over and over again in my head so I knew what to do without thinking about it much in the moment. The same street that I had walked down almost daily at one point soon filled my vision, the same people walking up and down it as each day before getting on with their lives. But one thing which made me sit in my seat frozen slightly was the sight of the café I had spent countless hours of my life working, the once happy filled building with the smell of fresh coffee and whatever treats we had in that day was replaced with broken building and a huge wooden block concealing the broken building. Different pieces of paper with the note from Kevin explaining why the café would never reopen but thanking each loyal customer that we had sat looking back at me. It was an odd feeling to pass by it as t
Vito, Buster and Jayden waited ten minutes away from the restaurant in a little apartment Jayden had rented out during the weeks he had been stalking Henson. The countless hours that he sat right by the window watching Henson and taking note of all he did, people would think he was in love with the man he watched him for so long! But he knew if they were ever going to get their dream of fulfilling the last one big job, they had been planning for so many years, he would need to do something to stop the issue of Henson once and for all. Vito sat by that same window looking out into the busy street, his eyes scanning the surrounding area in case Henson’s men appear due to Henson catching wind of what was happening. While Buster sat on one of the tables playing around with the little handgun to pass the time whilst Jayden, paced up and down with his phone in his hand waiting for the text from Louis that Coraline had done what she needed to, to come through. “I can’t be the only one
