Alas was almost at the door when my legs finally moved to run after him.

"Alas!" I pulled his arm and the rage that I first saw when he walked by me earlier to kill my head of security now lies in his eyes again.

"Where are you going?"

"To Aria. I've let her slide too many times. Now she needs to be punished."

"Punish? In what way? Are you going to kill her? Torture her?"

Alas narrowed his eyes on me. His aura was that of an intimidating Alpha.

"Let go of my arm now, Rocio."

"No!" I said firmly, swallowing the fear in my throat that I deposited and buried in my stomach.

"No, Alas. You look like you can kill someone again. What if you accidentally kill her because of your rage? I won't let you kill another soul again, Alas, please!" Alas turned to face me, a manic evil grin on his lips made me loosen my hold on his arm. I had already taken a step away from me when something flickered on my head.
