Alas

"I'm cold," whispered a small and soft voice that woke me up. A curve stretched my thin lips as I saw Rocio nearly burying her face in my chest hoping that my body heat would ease the coldness that she was feeling.

I got up and adjusted the air conditioning in my room. I walked back to the bed and tucked her to make sure that she stayed warm.

"Good morning, Alas. I bet you'd be in a good mood for the rest of the day," Eryx whom I bumped with on my way downstairs greeted.

"Why'd you say that? How can you be sure that I was in a good mood?" I said raising an eyebrow at Eryx.

He pointed at his neck and I got the message that he wanted to send.

"Isn't that a hickey? Or were you bitten by a mosquito? Though that's big and a lot to be a mosquito bite, I could be wrong." Eryx shrugged his shoulder.

I scoffed at him, "You're unbelievably nosy for a man. I'm a married man, Eryx. I have a wife, I'll have sex, and that shouldn't concern you."
