Chapter 2

Rocio

It felt like I was wearing nearly nothing. I checked my body and saw that I was in provocative lingerie. I began cupping myself.

"I once heard from Audrey that it's supposed to hurt like hell if you've been devirginized." I moved my legs and pressed them even more after I didn't feel any sort of pain.

"Thank you, Lord," I whispered and did a sign of the cross, "Thanks for keeping me safe."

I heard a chuckle.

"I didn't know that you were the religious type." A familiar voice filled my ears.

"Y-You, y-you're the customer from the coffee shop. W- What are you doing here?" I asked pointing at him while standing from the bed. His eyes run through my body.

"Stop staring, you maniac!" I screamed.

My eyes widened.

"Wait, if you're here. It means you're the man my mother sold me to? How did you know my mother?"

"Your mother didn't directly sell you to me, Rocio. You were put up for auction. I had to bid to get you." Alas paused. He realized something. "I didn't expect that you'd still call her your mother after what she did."

I stared back at him, "An auction where you can buy people. Isn't that illegal? It's human trafficking! What would you do to the women in that auction?" Alas shrugged his shoulder.

"I can't speak for the others, but for me, I need a wife, and you're the one that I wanted," he said straightforwardly.

"You need a wife? Why me? How did you even find me? How did you know that I was being sold in an auction?"

"The moment I laid my eyes on you in that coffee shop, and after you touched me. I couldn't get you out of my head, Rocio."

I took a step back to distance myself from him even when there was still plenty of it between us.

"T-Then d-did you touch me?" I asked.

"You were unconscious for a day, Rocio. Almost like you were dead."

"You didn't do anything to me?" I asked to make sure. Alas, that's his name, I remember it now. He playfully smirks at me.

"You sound and look disappointed, Rocio. Why? Do you have a thing with getting fuck while you were sleeping?" He asked before he supped his wine.

"I know few people with kink. I have one of my own, if that's yours, I won't judge," he said.

"Kink? I'm a virgin!"

"Is that an invitation to deflower you, sweetie?" Alas asked. I took a step back, but his phone suddenly rang.

"Stay here," he said before he walked towards the balcony of the hotel suite.

"I need to get out of here. I don't know how the hell he found out that I was up in an auction, but one thing is for sure, he's out of his freaking mind and obsess with me. I'm in a fucking danger," I whispered to myself. Facing the balcony I stepped back until my back hit the door.

I thought I could run straight to the elevator, but when two men blocked my way out of the suite the hope that I was clinging on that I'd be able to escape vanish.

"Eyes off my wife!" Alas shouted. He grabbed me away from the door and easily brought me back to the living room of his suite.

"Take this and dress yourself up. I don't want anyone else to see you like that," he said.

I kneeled in front of him.

"Please... I don't want to be your wife. Let me leave, please. I'll find a way to pay you back."

"You could barely afford to pay for my clothes that you ruined the other day and you're telling me you can pay back my one million? Get up, Rocio." I shake my head, that's when he forced me to stand up by pulling my arm.

"The only time that I want to see you on your knees is when I want you to give me a blowjob, Rocio. Now change into that clothes because we have to leave." I remained standing in front of him. Alas clenched his jaw and I sobbed harder after he ripped up my lingerie.

"Please, don't... y-you're scaring me!" I said crying harder than ever while my body shook in fear. His eyes softened, or maybe I was mistaken.

"You have five minutes to change your clothes. I'll wait for you outside. Don't even think of trying to escape, there is no way out, Rocio."

The same man who stopped me from leaving the suite opened the car. Alas's phone rang again.

"Fuck it, Eryx, tell them to fucking wait and if they can't then blow off their head," Alas tossed his phone to the leather seat.

"Did you tell Mori to have Rocio's security team lined up outside?" He asked the driver.

"Yes, Czar. Mori and Symone are waiting at the estate."

"Security team? Why do I need one? If this is to prevent me from escaping. You have made your point clear earlier. I won't do it again."

"She didn't know?" Alas's driver asked. I looked at him.

"What? I didn't know what. What else are you hiding from me?"

"Fuck you, Esqui!" Alas cussed.

"Mori and Symone won't be around to stop you from escaping. It's for your protection, Rocio," Alas explained in a calm voice.

I moved around my seat. Alas's seriousness began to suffocate me.

"Protection from what?" Alas remained silent.

I hit his arm. I didn't want to easily drop the topic especially because it felt like I was in danger.

"Protection from what, Alas? At least let me know what's going on. Don't just drag me into your world without telling me what's going on in it---"

"From my enemies, Rocio. From my enemies that will find a way to kill you and take you away from me once they find out who you are." Esqui harshly stepped on the break.

"Fuck," Alas cursed and when I looked over the window I saw men coming out of another car with high calibers of guns in their hands.
