Eryx patted my back. My eyes moved up to his face. He nonchalantly shrugged his shoulder at me.

"We suffered from a huge loss. Millions of dollars is a huge digit, but we had sorted it out. We're the Rune's Society. We'll surely recover from this," Eryx assured me.

"Do you want anything to help you distress? Wine? Rum, vodka?" He asked eyeing the private bar in my office. My eyes landed on a picture frame on the table with Rocio's picture on it. Eryx ended up looking at it too.

"Since when did you have that? God, you're so in love."

"I'm not."

"Mr. Morana, you're literally keeping a picture of your wife on your work table. You've never done that before."

"I'm not in love, into her, maybe?"

"What difference does that make?" I shrugged my shoulder back at him.

"Tell Paloma that we're flying back to the estates first thing in the morning," Eryx smirked at me as he savored the burning sensation of the vodka in his throat.
