Chapter 116

Mia’s pov

Dinner had already been prepared before we arrived. Apparently, Lorenzo had given Cat permission to come prepare some food for us before our arrival, and all that’s left is for the food to be microwaved. Lorenzo was in the kitchen doing just that when I arrived in the kitchen door way, he had his phone plastered against his ears as he moved around and I remained in the doorway for long moments until I got sighted.

“Look who decided to show up.” Lorenzo murmured and I rolled my eyes and I walked into the kitchen while stretching my hands as I did that.

I had taken a quick, unexpected nap about thirty minutes ago and it seemed to have helped me relax even more. When I crawled into Lorenzo’s huge bed, one which now supposedly belonged to me as well, I had felt extremely giddy as I slipped underneath the covers. The pillows had no smells of Lorenzo whatsoever but I knew that would get fixed in no time. After that, I somehow got lost in my thoughts until I drifted off to sleep.
