Chapter 115

Mia’s pov

The car ride back to Lorenzo’s main apartment was one which was filled with silent almost throughout, but unlike those tense ones we shared in the past, this one was quite different. It was comfortable and it also felt like we were somehow communicating through the silence without having to say a word.

“Are you sure it’s gonna be safe back there?” I tentatively asked as I realized that we’ve almost arrived at our destination. Lorenzo gave me a look before cracking a small smile.

“Why? You nervous?” He asked and I glanced out the window at first while absentmindedly chewing at the inside of my cheek. I had a feeling that who ever it was that was behind that raid incident is someone who definitely hated Luca and a little bit of fear has settled in my chest as the thought of anything happening to him.

“Just a little bit.” I admitted and he hummed in understanding.
