The next few weeks passed by in a slow haze with nothing unusual happening. Try as they may, they still couldn't find Rita no matter how much his men tried. Every corner of the street she lived in had been ransacked and the only indication to Connor was that she had probably absconded. That was the only thing that made sense to him and what's worse, she ran away with his child.
