Chapter 76: Mary

"What is going on?" she asked herself. The maids were strangely extra busy today and she wonders why.

Her brows were furrowed as she roamed her eyes around. Where were the two?

She continued walking. She entered her daughter's chamber and saw that they were not there, so she went to the garden, but to no avail. They were still not there.

"Excuse me, have you seen my daughter?" she asked one of the workers in the mansion.

The maid nearly knelt down just to show some respect as if she was some sort of royalty when it's totally unnecessary to do that. She's just a mere captive in this house, not even slightest to call a visitor.

"T-They are in Mr. Ivanov's office, ma'am," the poor maid stuttered.

"Where is it located? Lead the way, please."

"N-My pleasure, ma'am."
