As I walk towards my room, I see a shadow on the wall passing my eyes in a second. It was like a blink. I turn around and look everywhere. But all I find are the silent walls, the creepy paintings and the door to my room. That's all. It might be a trick of the light, but after going through weird experiences in this mansion, I am not so sure anymore. Has someone walked by? But how can they be so quick? I shrug, annoyed by my own internal questions. I should stop asking so many questions to things that I can never understand. Just like that werewolf in the forest.
