Ethan’s POV...
I laid quietly watching that bastard propose to my woman. The small space I hid in made it hard to not make a sound and the anger inside me made it hard to not jump down there and kill him and claim her. I knew that I had to wait though. Since my escape, they have been looking everywhere for me except for where I actually was. Michael also has made sure that someone is always with Josephine so I have just been sitting in wait for my time. I had it planned out and knew my way of escape once I had what was mine. Michael’s POV…We searched for hours and still found nothing. There had been no more tracks or disturbances in the brush. We finally called off the search and went back to the station empty-handed and with one more broken family to add to the others.
