41: Stay inside

Hector’s POV

The minute I told Kayla the message that had just been passed across, I could see her panicking inwardly. She was worried but I didn’t know if it was because of me or because she already knew Aidan was around.

“ This is obviously Aidan’s handwork. I knew the moment he came here that he was here as a diversion.” She said, throwing the others into confusion because they do not know Aidan.

“ Wait, who is Aidan?” Sapphire asked. It wasn’t long after she asked this that she gasped, realizing who Aidan is.

“ He is your mate, right? The one from Redwolf?” Sapphire was asking to confirm but the door flung open and Lea entered with a worried look on her face.

“ What the literal Hector! Why the heck are they framing you for this?” she asked angrily shutting the door from inside so that no one else can enter from outside the house.

This is my favorite thing about Lea, she and I may be mostly goofy around each other but she knows when shit is real and she knows what I’m capable a
