Chapter 31. Hesitation
Eva was still staring at the contract to work as Gabriel Xander's executive secretary in front of her. Evangeline still hasn't signed it at all. She felt more doubtful when she met Gabriel. It felt like Eva had seen him somewhere, but she forgot.
"Have you decided on it yet?" Emilia asked, reprimanding Eva, who was daydreaming. Eva gasped and shook her head.
"I am not sure. It is not my skill at all. What should I do as a secretary?" Eva was confused. Emilia shrugged her shoulders while sipping her tea. They were relaxing for a while before going to bed. Cody had gone to bed early, and Eva should too, because tomorrow was her first day at work.
"Maybe making coffee for your boss every day?" Emilia answered casually, then grinned. Eva's shoulders dropped further. She had no idea about secretarial work. Meanwhile, in the contract, the job description is described formally.
