"You seem to be doing better," I observed.

"Yes, I feel much better," she replied.

"That's great. I do have something on my mind though, and I need your help."

Her smile faded and she looked at me with apprehension. "What is it?"

"I need to decide who should be my best man."

"I apologize, but I can't provide any assistance on this matter. The decision is entirely up to you," Cassandra said.

I let out a frustrated sigh. "Come on, please help me out!"

"I'm sorry, Jasper. I can't pick sides because I have personal relationships with both David and Alex and Kenny. It wouldn't be fair," Cassandra responded.

"Okay, so what do I do then? Just flip a coin?" I asked.

Cassandra chuckled. "Well, there are only two sides to a coin, Jasper."

I banged my hand against my forehead in frustration. "Getting married is so difficult! I feel sorry for anyone who got married before me, and I'll warn any unmarried guys not to tie the knot!"
