Chapter 25- The Party Begins
The next morning, Dohana's friends woke up early and started preparing for the engagement party. Excitement was written on their faces. They wore beautiful party dresses they had especially bought for the occasion the day before.
Jean had especially organised for a limousine to pick up her daughter-in-law and her friends. She was really fond of Dohana and she thought the girl was exceptional. At the Sunlight Towers Hotel, a young couple walked in, one ahead of the other and made their way into the lobby. The woman wore a stylish party dress that kept all the man ogling at her as she dazzled through. Even the receptionist stood up to take a good look at that amazing woman. Feelings everyone's gaze upon her, Dohana flustered and held back to walk right next to Jake. "Please book a separate room for yourself," she whispered to Jake. What? Jake was surprised. "Alright guys, let's go wait for them downstairs." Jake led the way. An hour later, the group arrived at an upmarket club hosted at the top of a luxurious flat. Only the most influential, rich and famous people attended such an extraordinary club. The club was already packed when Jake and his friends arrived. A waitress greeted them and led them to a VIP table. The women were quick to sit next to their partners while Dohana chose to sit next to Miley London.
