Lilliana’s POV“You’re— You’re hurting me, Nik.” I managed to let out as Nikolai pulled me out of the living room and up the stairs.I didn’t need a soothsayer to tell me that he was far from pleased with me, he was angry and every movement he made, the way his hand held mine in a tight grip told me everything. We finally got into his room and Nikolai let me go as he slammed the door angrily, his eyes boring into me aggressively as he stared at me for a while. The room was silent, he didn’t say anything as I rubbed my wrist although there were slight bruises on it.“What the hell is wrong with you?” Nikolai asked after a long unbearable silence and knowing better than to look into his eyes, I averted my gaze from his angry ones.“What has gotten into you?” He continued with his scolding while I only remained silent. I might have taken the wrong path, I might have been wrong but that was only because I was tired.“Did you have to go on a rampage? Did you have to take things that far?”
Lilliana’s POVIt’s been four days since what happened between Jenna and I and for the past four days, I haven’t been seeing Nikolai. It feels like he doesn’t live in the house anymore and if he does, he’s probably ignoring me because I haven’t been seeing him around.Jenna also hasn’t been in the house and no matter how hard I tried, I can’t help but feel like something is wrong somewhere.I could feel it, something was wrong but I can’t place a finger on what that is yet and until Nikolai is ready to talk to me, all I have is the questions in my head.“I haven’t seen the Alpha since he left with Miss Jenna.” One of the maids I’d asked about Nikolai said and my stomach tightened. What could really be going on?“Thank you.” I said as I made my way to the kitchen, despite the fact that the rest of the maids treated me like I was special, I couldn’t help but feel less.I feel like Nikolai was drifting away from me, there was no sight of him and even when I tried to call him, he would al
Lilliana’s POVThe smile of relief I had on my face gradually faded as I watched them make their way slowly and carefully into the building.“Lily,” Andre’s voice jolted me out of my thoughts and I had no idea how long I’ve been staring without blinking for until he called me and I blinked.“I didn’t….. I didn’t know they were together.” He said and I lifted my gaze to see him looking down at me pitifully.I looked back at Nikolai and Jenna and neither of them seemed to notice my presence. Nikolai was too busy taking care of Jenna to notice that I was staring at them.Embarrassment washed over me as almost all of the maids could see me breaking, they stared at me like they were sorry I had to see something like that.“Excuse me.” I coughed as I turned to make my way through the crowd and for a moment I thought I was alone until I heard footsteps behind me.“Lily, Wait. Where are you going?” Andre asked, making me stop in my tracks as I turned to look at him with a tear filled gaze.My
Lilliana’s POVGroaning, I had tossed and turned in my bed all night, barely had any sleep as the thoughts of Nikolai and Jenna spending the night together kept bugging me.My chest ached a lot too and with that was my banging headache. I opened my eyes and my room seemed to be upside down and my vision was blurry.“Lily, are you in there?” I heard a familiar voice call as a slight knock followed and I wanted to ignore it but the last thing I wanted was the knock to be incessant.“I’m in here, I’m not dead yet. Thanks for checking up on me, Andre, bye!” I said and slammed the door without giving him a chance to say anything.Nikolai already thinks there was something between Andre and I despite the fact that we barely see each other and the last thing I want is to make him keep thinking like that.Walking to the bathroom, I decided to get ready for the day but the fact that Jenna and Nikolai slept in the same room kept driving me crazy and I just can’t begin to imagine how many things

Lilliana’s POV“W— What? What?” I asked, I couldn’t believe that Nikolai would actually say this. I couldn’t believe that he would ask for me to be thrown in a dungeon.I didn’t even do anything but he would rather believe the tears and lies of Jenna over what I was trying to tell me.The hurt felt so bad that it felt like I’d been hit right on my chest with a sledgehammer. The last thing I expected to hear from Nikolai was this.“Are you really serious right now, Nikolai?” I asked in disbelief, looking up at him and still desperately trying to think of an excuse for him.“Do you really mean all of this? Are you really trying to lock me up in a dungeon just because I spilled water on her by mistake? It didn’t even touch her!” I added. His gaze was straight, his facial expression was too dead serious for him to be joking and I didn’t need a soothsayer to tell me that he was serious.“Mistake?!” Nikolai roared in anger, making me jump in fear as I looked up at him, “you and I know how m
Lilliana’s POV“Alpha Nikolai asked us to let you go.” One of the guards said as he held the door open for me and I nodded as I made my way out.Just like Andre had suggested, I thought about going to the pack celebration and as much as it was going to hurt seeing Nikolai and Jenna there, I made up my mind to be there.I don’t love Nikolai anymore and I don’t even care about Jenna again.Anything I do from now on will be for myself, any decision I take from now on will always be in favor of no one else but me.I walked to my room to freshen up and get the stench of the dungeon out of my skin and when I was done, I decided to help the maids in the kitchen.Everything felt weird, their gazes on me made me feel horrible but I swept it all under the rug and decide to act as a maid does. The day went by quickly and despite the fact that I was outside most of the time, I barely ever saw both Nikolai and Jenna, they were both nowhere to be found.I shouldn’t care and I tried not to but I hav
Lilliana’s POVI watched as Andre’s eyes widened as though they were going to pop out of their sockets. I knew he wasn’t expecting me to go this far.Nikolai on the other hand looked shocked, his grey eyes quickly turned red as he looked from me and when I followed his gaze, to Andre. Smiling to myself, I walked towards Andre.“What? What? What the hell are you doing, Lily?” He asked but I only smiled at him, “there’s no way. I’m not—“ he stopped talking when I extended my hand.Andre looked up to me and I pouted, I had no trouble trying to get tears to well up in my eyes and I smiled at the look of defeat he had on when he took my hand.I could feel Nikolai’s intense gaze on me as Andre and I both walked to the dance floor and it only made me smile even more because it could be in the pettiest way but I got his attention.“Why are you doing this?” Andre asked in confusion as we danced, “Nikolai is going to kill me.” He added and I laughed like he’d said something funny.“I told you I
