Lilliana’s POV

“Alpha Nikolai asked us to let you go.” One of the guards said as he held the door open for me and I nodded as I made my way out.

Just like Andre had suggested, I thought about going to the pack celebration and as much as it was going to hurt seeing Nikolai and Jenna there, I made up my mind to be there.

I don’t love Nikolai anymore and I don’t even care about Jenna again.

Anything I do from now on will be for myself, any decision I take from now on will always be in favor of no one else but me.

I walked to my room to freshen up and get the stench of the dungeon out of my skin and when I was done, I decided to help the maids in the kitchen.

Everything felt weird, their gazes on me made me feel horrible but I swept it all under the rug and decide to act as a maid does.

The day went by quickly and despite the fact that I was outside most of the time, I barely ever saw both Nikolai and Jenna, they were both nowhere to be found.
