Nikolai’s POV

She looked shocked to see me but that wasn’t what was really clear in her eyes, it was the sheer look of hatred that caused a tingle in my chest.

She looked like she didn’t want to see me and the sight of her being with Andre…. Again, angered me more than anything else.

“What are you doing here?” Andre’s voice jolted me out of my thoughts and it wasn’t until then that I realized that he was already in front of me.

“That shouldn't be any of your business, should it?” I retorted, the feeling we both had for each other was sort of mutual but I wasn’t in the mood to fight my best friend.

I was too tired to want to do any of that because my heart has been racing for the past twelve hours, trying really hard to get my mind together.

I couldn’t deny that I was worried and right from the moment that I heard about everything that was going on, I was already in the hospital and stayed up all night, waiting for her to wake up.
