I shouldn’t be doing this. What if something bad happened to me? There was a possibility of that happening, but I needed to be sure whether this person was a threat to the Pack. The scent of pine filled the air and the sunlight disappeared through the thick canopy of large leaves. The crunch of leaves beneath my feet echoed through the silent woods. I didn't want to lose sight of the person.

It wasn’t long after when the figure stopped suddenly and began looking around. I tiptoed behind a large tree to hide when the person suddenly turned in my direction. My breath caught with fear.

The small figure told me that the person I was following was female. Had they realized they were being followed? That didn’t seem to be the case as the man turned around and continued walking again.
