ADRIAN'S POV

I stood there, frozen, as Eva hurled question after question at me. She stood before me, arms on her waist, and I couldn't help but notice how her fiery gaze was fixated on me. The way she looked at me made me feel like I was under a microscope. She wasn't scared of me like she usually was and I was shocked.

It wasn't until she mentioned our relationship that everything hit me like a ton of bricks. "Even if we aren't on good terms, you shouldn't be sleeping around with Zero or other girls," she said, her voice rising with each passing word. "I've been faithful to you."
