Audrey’s POV

“You can’t mean that right now, right?” I questioned, glancing between Kaden and Lucas, as if asking for help but Lucas looked away from me.

I could sense that the topic was making him quite uncomfortable himself but he stood with us, occasionally nodding his head at every word Kaden spoke.

“What other methods do you know of?” Kaden asked, cocking his eyebrows at me.

I could think of mindlinks, and also those occasional pangs that mates got whenever their significant other was in trouble but then I realized that it was impossible for Kaden and I to experience those because we hadn’t mated yet.
