Chapter 71

Audrey's POV:

I was still bound in place with thick rubbery ropes; and my eyes stung when the blindfold was forcefully pulled off my face, making me gasp slightly from the pain.

It almost felt as if my eyes were about to pull off with it. I frowned.

I squinted into the overly bright room and nearly cried as a splitting headache wracked my head until my eyes began to hurt severely.

While I tried getting myself together, I discovered that the place didn’t look familiar but had this familiar aura about it that I couldn’t quite place.

I held onto the ground and tried observing the place. The headache persisted and I felt it was because I had been blindfolded for so long that my eyes had already adjusted to the darkness.

No one was there and I wondered where the person who removed the blindfold had gone. I didn't want to bother myself about things like this.
