"Are you sure, gorgeous?" Maya asked me for the tenth time since I called her.
"I promise. I'm fine. I want to see things through here."
"Fine, but if anything happens..."
"I'll catch the first flight to you," I laughed trying to show her that I was really fine. "Anyways, tonight I'll send you some pics of my new baby." It was her turn to laugh.

Maya's POV"Hello," I called for the third time before checking again on maps. I was at the right place but the warehouse was empty. It even looked like it wasn't used in ages. I took a deep, full-of-dust breath and tried calling back the number."Well hello there!" I turned around, startled by the sudden yet familiar voice. I was pretty sure no one was around. The moment we locked eyes, my blood froze in my veins. How could I forget those dull green eyes? He had the same creepy presence I remember from our one and last encounter. The room was in complete chaos but the buzzing in my ears kept me from hearing the said words. My eyes were on the smashed phone in my hands, Maya's phone.
