Damian POV

We got to the mansion while I sent a message to Connor. We needed all hands if this plan was going to work.

Stephanie was already waiting for me when we arrived. I had told her the message I got through the mind link the minute I got it.

“What's the plan?” She walked up to me.

“Let's go inside,” I grumbled, going into the house.

“What is she doing with you?” She hissed in annoyance. Without turning, I knew who she was talking about.

“Not now,” I told her, going straight into my office. They joined me, including Anne, which I was not expecting. Marcus gave me a look and I ignored him.

“Where the hell is Connor?” I grumbled. Just then, he entered the office, looking disheveled and smelling of a female.

Was he… I lost the train of thought and gave Anne a sharp look. She glanced at him but turned away after seeing how he looked. Her sense of smell might be dull but I was sure she could smell the foreign fragrance on him.

Why was I even thinking about that? It wa
