Damian POV

“We received a message from Connor,” one of my men announced. It's been two days since Connor left and we have been waiting for a message from him.

“That was fast,” I murmured. I was thinking it would take at least a week for them to make their move.

“He said the wolves have started moving and they are heading this way,” the man continued. I sat straight in my seat.

“Why are they coming this way?” I asked him, surprised. For the last few weeks, they have been hovering in the woods and close to the Risenmoon Pack. Why were they changing directions?

Did they find out our plans? So many questions were going through my head. I didn't want to lose the mined lead to anyone and could not afford to. Alpha Elijah would not be mining another lead anytime soon.

“I do not know, Alpha,” he answered. “He said they should be getting closer by now and asked that we go to the borders and wait for them,” the man stood up after giving the message.
