Leah POV

It was a bright and sunny day. I was in a good mood for some strange reasons. Well, technically there were various reasons why I should be in a good mood but I was not going to dwell on them.

Taking a deep breath to calm my nerves, I opened my door which has become like the gate to my life. When I was in my room I could do whatever I liked but once I took a step outside my doors, I had to mind my words and actions.

Today, I would be going to pick some herbs and also check on the maintenance guy in the factory. Yesterday I could not go there due to all the events that happened. Besides, I later heard Marcus had gone there so it gave me a little bit of comfort.

As usual, Evelyn was already standing there waiting for me. She looked as vibrant as always. I had the urge to compliment her for all she had been doing but I decided to wait a little bit more, just to observe.
