Damian POV

“Who gave you the authority to do that without his permission?” Stephanie yelled at Marcus who was standing by the side of my office.

I could understand why she was angry and bothered about the announcement he had made in our absence. It was uncalled for. He might have had good intentions for doing that but it made me go against my word.

After promising Stephanie that I would not introduce Anne to the pack, I should have commanded them not to do it either. There would be no mess now.

“Say something Damian,” she whined like a petulant child.

“Let's not dwell on it, Steph,” I told her weakly. My shoulders were still sore. I didn't have the energy for this.

“Not dwell on it?” She screamed, her face turning red with anger. Her eyes narrowed and looked at me suspiciously.

“Leave, Marcus,” I dismissed him before she continued ranting. He bowed and left the room.
