He falls into step next to me as I walk back over to the edge of the lake. I sit down and cross my legs, resting my arms with my palms up on my knees. I close my eyes and enter the witch's realm within my mind. I then close my eyes once more and whisper,

“Magick forces black and white

Reaching far and out of sight,

Magick forces far and near

I summon thee

Blood of my blood

Flesh of my flesh

Bone of my bone.

I call to thee

Appear to me now

I open my eyes, and it isn’t long before my Grandmother is standing in front of me. She smiles, and I reach forward and give her a hug. When she pulls back, she says,
