I regretted it as soon as the challenging words had left my mouth; he moved quickly, nearly as quickly as Prince Romeo does, and before I could even scream, he has pulled me down on the bed and is lying over me with one hand around my throat and the other over my mouth.

As I struggle underneath him, Vlad moves his hips and legs, pushing them between mine before using his body weight to stop me from moving. Once Vlad had me mostly pinned to the bed, he removed his hand from over my mouth just to cover it with his in a hard and dominant kiss.

When he pulls back from the kiss, he tightens his hand that little more around my throat. He then lifts his chest off of mine just enough to move his other hand between us. He picks up my amulet and then seems to hiss as he says,
