Cyrus POV

It had been a few days now since I met Selena and I must confess, I hadn't been myself since then.

Words couldn't describe exactly how I felt but for certain, I was perturbed. The more I thought about the assignment she had given, the more worried I became.

If I was told that someday I would be in a spot as tight as this, I wouldn't have believed even for once but right now, it was as if there was no place for me to wriggle out from.

Money was my weakness and so a lot of people had used it to exploit me to their fullest. It was the money Alpha Jasper promised to pay in exchange for Anna that made me sell her without any form of regret.

And now, it was the same money that was making me contemplate on if I should kill Anna or not.

The assignment itself wasn't a hard task for me to do. Just like Selena had said, Alice and her daughter meant nothing to me.
