Anna's POV

After getting enough rest just like Alpha Jasper had asked me to, I woke up yawning widely and I swung my feet off the bed.

To think that I was tired after sleeping for more than three hours was something I couldn't shake off just like that.

Still yawning, I climbed off the bed and then began to grope my way towards the bathroom to clean my face.

On my return, as if on a cue, the door flung open and Lillian peeped in. The moment our eyes connected, she rushed towards me and then jumped into my arms, shrieking with delight.

“I have missed you so much.” She cried on my shoulder, hugging me like her life depended on it.

“Me too.” I replied with a bright smile etched on my lips. I really meant my words.

Staying apart from her for a month made me realize how much effect she had on me. It would be fair to say that after Maya, she was my second best friend.
