Chapter 119

Anna's POV

The news which was still fresh in my head gave me the strength to keep on running to the scene. All I wanted was to see if what the maid had said was true or not but deep down I hoped it was the former.

Mother was the only true family I had apart from Alpha Jasper. If she is truly gone, then I was done for.

Still running blindly, I heard Maya's voice from behind, calling out to me but I didn't act like I heard.

Sympathy could wait, right now, my mother comes first.
