Chapter 54

Anna's POV

After the mating ceremony, Alpha Jasper and I were led to the ballroom where the reception was going to be held. I was already drained from standing for too long during the ceremony and now I was looking forward to grabbing a seat.

“My lord, congratulations.” Beta Jacob said, appearing by our side. I haven't seen him since after we left the hallway earlier.

“What is the situation in the ballroom?” Alpha Jasper asked, ignoring his greeting.

“Everything is going on as planned. The guests are already being ushered in and once you arrive, the ceremony will begin in a full swing.” He rapped.

“Good.”

Grabbing my hand, he turned towards me with a bright smile and not one of those that gave me creeps, he intertwined our fingers and together, we walked towards the ballroom, congratulatory messages being chanted from all corners.
