“No, not ma’am, call me Maria, okay?”

the woman stated and Nora nodded. Looking at her again, Maria looked nothing like an Italian woman, she most certainly was a foreign but Nora didn’t want to be nosy and ask her where she was from.

“You have not answered my question, Nora, would you like to eat first or would you rather take a bath first?”

She asked again.

“Anyone would work by me, I just want to get out of this bed but I can seem to be able to lift myself up even though I could do it at the hospital,”

She complained.

“It is understandable, your injuries are still fresh and according to Luca, you were passed out for days, your body is still trying to adapt to the new normal,”

She said and Nora gave her a look, she didn’t like how she made it seem like this is how her life would be from now on, she hated the thought of it.

“I don’t like what you just said, no way I want this to be my new normal,”
